Movement is our first language

It’s not really important what we call the movement - yoga, somatics, jogging, dancing. Movement is not only the expression of ourselves but our fundamental nature.

I am an ISMETA certified  Somatic Movement Educator, with over a decade of experience supporting bodies and minds in motion and in rest.

Through the lens of somatics, experiential anatomy, mindfulness, and non-dual philosophy, I support humans in discovering the deep interconnection between the physical and the spiritual, the individual and the collective. While our practice is deeply personal, it is also a path to connection and liberation - for ourselves and the world around us.

I offer support in finding more freedom and ease in our body-mind, without denying the reality a lot of us live with - chronic pain, physical or emotional restrictions, and the oppressive systems we live in that affect all of us.

I have a deep love for resting. In a world that celebrates hustle, capitalism, and nervous system overstimulation, I facilitate from the intersection of the political and the spiritual, recognizing that while meaningful change begins within the individual, true social change is rooted and thrives in community.

As a child, I would read anything about Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology that my mum and the public library could provide. At thirteen, I walked into my first yoga class at the local community center, everyone practicing on a sheepskin rug, searching for something I couldn't quite name.  And in my early twenties, astrology entered my life through late-night charts on astro.com. Still, it would take another fifteen years, and a career as a projectmanager shaped by the internet’s transformation from possibility to profit, before I returned fully to yoga and astrology, this time as lifelong companions and embodied practices.

As someone living in a body that experiences chronic pain, I was lucky to find somatics on my yoga path through Embodied Flow, a style of yoga that combined asana, free movement, and non-dual tantra with Body-Mind Centering®️ practices. Eventually, I became a certified Embodied Flow™ Teacher, completing over 1,000 hours of training and mentoring, and went on to train as a Somatic Movement Therapist in 2019 and certified with ISMETA as a Somatic Movement Educator in 2021.
I taught in my own studio in Karlsruhe, Germany for eight years, until its closing in 2024.

Alongside this work, I deepened my study of Hellenistic astrology through Austin Coppock’s Fundamentals of Astrology program (Year I). Alongside Austin, I’m forever grateful for the teachings of Kelly Surtees and Demetra George, with whom I have done multiple workshops, and the inspirations I have received through Chani Nicholas, Alice Sparkly Kat, and Diana Rose Harper's writing.

Weaving the threads of Somatics, non-dual philosophy, and astrology into the practice and teaching of AstroSomatics in 2020 in my studio, I started offering my online classes and trainings in January 2025 through the school of Authentic Flow.

On a personal note, you will always find me uuhing and aahing at any animal, learning a new craft, making art, asking you if you have eaten, while passionately explaining why capitalism, colonialism, and patriarchy are incompatible with life on this planet. My Capricorn stellium (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars) lives in the 8th house, where honesty is non-negotiable, and depth is the doorway. It makes me direct, unflinching, and willing to sit with what is hidden or hard, but my exalted Venus in Pisces will forever make sure I never lose sight of beauty, tenderness, and the quiet miracle of being here together.
